The classic THC. In hemp products it's kept ≤ 0.3% by dry weight (Farm Bill rule), which means edibles get formulated by total mg and flower is naturally compliant when bred for low D9. Same molecule as in traditional cannabis — same effects.
An isomer of D9. Slightly less potent, often described as smoother and less anxious. Hemp-derived. Common in vapes, gummies, and tinctures.
Another isomer. Often reported as more "daytime" / functional than D8 or D9. Less common, usually in vapes and distillates.
The acid precursor to THC found in raw flower. Non-psychoactive in raw form, but converts to D9 THC when heated (smoked or vaped). THCa flower is sold raw and tests under 0.3% D9 — it's the same plant traditional smokers know, just labeled by its raw-form chemistry.
A naturally-occurring cannabinoid reported to be many times more potent than D9 at the receptor level. Typically blended into edibles and vapes at small doses.
Hexahydrocannabinol. Hydrogenated THC analog — more shelf-stable, similar effects to D9 at slightly lower potency.
Non-psychoactive. Common for relaxation, sleep, and inflammation support. Pairs well with other cannabinoids (the "entourage effect").
"The mother cannabinoid" — precursor to CBD, THC, and others. Non-psychoactive. Often cited for focus and gut health.
Non- or mildly-psychoactive. Forms when THC ages. Most often combined with CBD or melatonin in sleep blends.
Non-psychoactive minor cannabinoid. Less studied; appears in full-spectrum products.
Traditional smoke. Onset in seconds, lasts 1-3 hours. Most flavor and terpene profile.
Distillate or live-resin in a cartridge. Faster than edibles, cleaner than flower, easier to dose.
Onset 30-90 min, lasts 4-8 hours. Always start low (5mg or less) and wait two hours before redosing.
Drops under the tongue. Onset 15-30 min, lasts 4-6 hours. Easy to micro-dose.
Diamonds, crumble, hash, rosin. Highest potency per gram. For experienced users with the right rig.
Convenience format. Same flower, already rolled.
